How CAFMTEK Fits in Maestro FM

Last updated

In short

CAFMTEK is HITEK AI's CAFM system. Maestro FM is the unified platform that includes CAFMTEK along with other HITEK AI products. The CAFM features are the same in both. Maestro FM adds the other products and uses a separate account.

Applies to: CAFMTEK standalone and Maestro FM deployments

What Maestro FM is

Maestro FM is HITEK AI’s AI-driven facilities management platform. It connects five stages of the FM value chain, from asset condition assessment to carbon tracking, in one system with a shared source of truth. It has 12 modules, and one shared AI layer runs across all of them. Each module can be deployed on its own or as part of the complete platform.

The five stages and where CAFMTEK sits

Stage What it covers Modules
1. Assess AI-assisted condition grading and criticality scoring, captured on mobile in the field CONDTEK
2. Operate and Maintain Asset register, work orders, SFG20 planned maintenance and AI predictive maintenance CAFMTEK
3. Secure and Monitor HSE, visitor access, workforce safety and fleet SAFETEK, VMS & Sec+, TRACKTEK, FleeTEK
4. Model BIM, BMS and IoT brought together in one continuously updated digital twin Digital Twin
5. Optimise AI-led energy optimisation, waste diversion and automated carbon accounting POWERTEK, WASTEK, CARBONTEK

Maestro FM also includes Asset LCA, which estimates useful life remaining, whole-life cost and supports replace-or-retain decisions. It also includes BD Costing, for business development costing and manpower estimation.

What CAFMTEK does within Maestro FM

CAFMTEK is the CAFM system in Maestro FM. It manages:

  • the asset register
  • work orders and reactive maintenance history
  • SFG20 planned maintenance
  • AI predictive maintenance and fault detection

For the full list of modules, AI capabilities and integrations, see the CAFMTEK Fact Sheet.

How CAFMTEK connects to the rest of the platform

Standalone CAFM software works on its own data. Within Maestro FM, CAFMTEK is linked to asset condition data upstream, and to energy, waste and carbon data downstream.

  • From CONDTEK: AI-graded condition and criticality scores for assets.
  • To Asset LCA: Asset LCA turns the condition and criticality scores held in Maestro FM into capital planning figures.
  • With TRACKTEK: smartwatch workforce tracking, safety monitoring and task verification. [CONFIRM that TRACKTEK verifies CAFMTEK work order tasks]
  • Towards POWERTEK, WASTEK and CARBONTEK: operational data feeds energy, waste and carbon reporting.
  • Across all modules: the shared AI layer improves its predictions as operational history builds up.

The Maestro FM mobile app

Maestro FM is the mobile app for Maestro FM users on site [CONFIRM]. It is an app, not a separate CAFM system.

In the app, field teams can:

  • raise, track and resolve reactive maintenance requests
  • carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks
  • record meter readings against tasks
  • complete HSEQ inspections, audits, incident reports and waste collection records

Maintenance requests, PPM tasks and meter readings in MaestroFM are managed by CAFMTEK, the CAFM system within Maestro FM. HSEQ functions are provided by SAFETEK. [CONFIRM both]

CAFMTEK on its own or as part of Maestro FM

If you need Deploy
CAFM only: assets, work orders, planned maintenance, SLAs, inventory CAFMTEK on its own
CAFM connected to condition assessment, lifecycle and capex planning, safety, digital twin or carbon reporting CAFMTEK within Maestro FM

A standalone CAFMTEK deployment still contributes to, and benefits from, Maestro FM’s shared AI layer.

Is CAFMTEK inside Maestro FM different from standalone CAFMTEK?

No, same features, difference is scope

CAFMTEK is not CONDTEK

CAFMTEK and CONDTEK are separate modules with different jobs:

  • CAFMTEK is the CAFM system. It runs maintenance and service operations.
  • CONDTEK is asset condition intelligence. It grades asset condition and criticality through mobile field surveys.

Within Maestro FM, CONDTEK’s condition data feeds CAFMTEK.

Do you need a separate account for Maestro FM?

Yes. Maestro FM uses its own account, separate from a standalone CAFMTEK account. A CAFMTEK login does not sign you in to Maestro FM. The HITEK AI team sets up Maestro FM access for each organisation.
