Where enabled by your organisation, the MaestroFM mobile application collects precise location data (GPS) from your device. What we collect. Your device’s precise geographic location, including latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed, heading, altitude, and the time of each reading. To support this, the app may collect location in the background, that is, while the app is closed or not in use, for the duration of your work session. Why we collect it. Location is used to provide live workforce tracking so your employer’s operations and security team can:

monitor on-duty field and security staff in real time;
verify patrol routes and coverage; and
locate and respond to SOS, emergency, and incident alerts.

When we collect it. Background location tracking runs only while you are logged in to the app and only when your organisation’s administrator has enabled tracking for your account. It stops when you log out. You will be shown an in-app disclosure and asked to grant location permission before any tracking begins, and you can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Who we share it with. Your location data is shared with your employer/organisation (its operations and security personnel) for the purposes described above. We do not sell location data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or other unrelated third parties. Retention and deletion. Location records are retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet your organisation’s operational and legal requirements.
